PVG
Intended use:
PVG belt is a 1-ply belt, with solid-woven carcass and rubber covers. It combines performance of PVC and rubber belts.
A special designed textile is used as a belt carcass and it ensures:
- high puncture resistance,
- high strength of separable mechanical joints,
- low elongation and tear resistance.
Rubber cover ensures ideal operation of belt in severe operating conditions in underground mines.
Belt design
Strength ranges:
From 630 to 3150 [N/mm]
Width, length of the sections:
from 800 to 1600mm; Standard lengths of belts: 100; 150; 200; 250 [m]; other to be agreed with the manufacturer.
Belt execution:
In compliance with the operation and maintenance manual of Cobra Europe Sp. z o.o Piekary Śląskie ; standards: PN-EN; DIN; SA; GOST; MSHA; organizational standards and/or with the prior agreement of the Customer.
Joining methods:
Cobra Europe Sp. z o.o. Piekary Śląskie offers joining of conveyor belts by factory service and recommends joining the belts by curing method. It is possible also to use mechanical joints, which should be applied in accordance with the Operation and Maintenance Manual from joints manufacturer.

Example: DEPREUX PVG SW 1250/1 1200 4+2 L , where: DEPREUX – trademark of the manufacturer Cobra Europe Sp. z o.o Piekary Śląskie PVG – belt type SW – carcass made of solid woven textile 1250 – type = belt strength [N/mm], 1- number of plies 1200 – belt width [mm], 4+2 – covers thickness: outer and inner [mm]; L- class of rubber cover acc. to EN- ISO 22721 and EN-ISO 14890.
