PVC
Intended use:
PVC belt is a 1-ply belt, with solid-woven carcass and PVC covers.
A special designed textile is used as a belt carcass and it ensures:
- high puncture resistance,
- high strength of separable mechanical joints,
- low elongation and tear resistance.
PVC belt has a design completely based on the polyvinyl chloride ensuring high fire resistance. Due to its properties is has been designed for transport of products in underground mines.
Belt design
Strength ranges:
From 800 to 1600 [N/mm]
Width, length of the sections:
Width from 800 to 1600mm;
Standard lengths of belts: 100; 150; 200; 250 [m]; other to be agreed with the manufacturer
Belt execution:
In compliance with the operation and maintenance manual of Cobra Europe Sp. z o.o Piekary Śląskie ; standards: PN-EN; DIN; SA; GOST; MSHA; organizational standards and/or with the prior agreement of the Customer.
Joining methods:
Cobra Europe Sp. z o.o. Piekary Śląskie offers joining of conveyor belts by factory service and recommends joining the belts by gelling method.
It is possible also to use mechanical joints, which should be applied in accordance with the Operation and Maintenance Manual from joints manufacturer.
