Exploring New Horizons in Gabon: Conveying Expert Service and C3-Expert Join Forces
In early December 2025, CES, in collaboration with C3-Expert, embarked on a strategic mission to Gabon. Given the territorial context, the team was joined by Rema Tip Top South Africa. Although RTT is not yet active in Gabon, this initiative opens promising new opportunities for growth and long-term partnership.
The visit was initiated at the request of a major player in the mining sector, seeking specialized expertise to address recurring issues and premature damage affecting a recently installed conveyor system. During the on-site inspection, a comprehensive review of the entire material handling installation at the port was conducted. The objective was to obtain a global perspective on all conveyor systems in operation, assess their current condition, and identify potential areas for improvement.
In addition to high maintenance costs, the client is facing continuous and intensive efforts to maintain cleanliness of both the installations and surrounding areas—an increasingly unsustainable operational burden. During the visit, a detailed assessment of the most problematic installation was carried out, enabling the identification of root causes and the proposal of immediate emergency measures. However, a definitive resolution will require significant engineering interventions, which CES will develop in a subsequent phase.
Furthermore, all conveyors on-site were inspected, and several critical components were identified as strategic risk points. Failures in these areas could have a severe impact on production continuity. While emergency measures have been recommended, ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency will necessitate substantial modifications to the system.
Looking ahead, CES recognizes strong potential for collaboration with Rema Tip Top South Africa. By combining CES’s engineering expertise with RTT’s capabilities in delivery, service, and project management, the client stands to achieve a significant transformation of its operations—enhancing reliability, reducing cleaning costs, improving efficiency (including lower energy consumption and reduced wear part usage), and minimizing the risk of costly unplanned downtime.
Together, CES and its partners aim to turn operational challenges into opportunities, setting new standards of excellence for this customer in Gabon.
We are pleased to share that application tests of DELTASLICK have been successfully carried out in France, confirming its performance in real industrial conditions.
These trials focused on material flow behaviour, carryback reduction and operational stability in demanding conveying environments. Key outcomes observed during the test:• 20–40% faster material evacuation• Significantly reduced material adhesion and carryback•...
